Just back from a walk on the beach.
Anyone want 2 wet & smelly Airedales, they only smell a little bit of Eau de Rotting Seagull, which they rolled in.
Guess who's dogs are NOT sleeping inside tonight?

 

Bern, The football pitch across from your shop used to be referred to as "the Western San Siro" ! Don't think you'll be taking a picnic there in your lunch break?

 

still snow covered park in deepest Derbyshire.

 

We're off to Stowe Landscape Gardens today ... effectively a large posh parkland with statues & a tea room There's an Easter Trail today so that should keep Freya busy! Should be some pockets of snow still where it's drifted ... still some along the verges & deep in places (well, deep for an 8 year old )

 

We have a nice vandalised children's playground and skate park there. Not a place I'd choose to have a picnic though

 

I'll be off for my daily constitutional very soon. Nice and bright this morning.

Hmm no thanks. have my own 2 smelly airedales to walk but currently taking a winch to get me off the sofa as every muscle in my legs is shrieking in agony thanks to yesterday's killer PT session

 

Me and Mrs Beatnick popped out earlier with our hand held cine camers and made this for you Bern.

 

Then when we got home

 

Just done a 10 mile one in a national one.

 

I walked here 3 times today as is on the route to town.

 

Walk done & huge slice of cake afterwards in the cafe
Had such a good time that we then joined the national trust as well!

 

Mrs Beatnick is looking good
