We had a Red in the garden on Sunday, we've often had Greys there but thats the first Red, the kids have now named him rusty, suitable name for afamily with a bay. Hopefully it'll be back. Com' on you Reds
We have a number of greys visit us we had three in the garden at the same time amusing to watch the scuffles and chases. I put up a feeder box put some food in it, one took to days to work it out the others just ate the lid away.

Have yourself a weekend in Hawes, there's a mini bus runs from town to a red squirrel reserve....loads of them and will take nuts from your hand ( it appears that the squirrels, like me couldn't read the signs saying not to !)
Wow, I didn’t know that. Stayed there in the campervan last two years as well. Just gives me another excuse to visit the picturesque village with loads of pubs and the Wensleydale cheese factory again I’ll check the squirrel bus out on the Web
I’ve seen a few red squirrels on the IOW. My friends used to get them coming up to their patio for food. Then they got a couple of dogs and that scared them away I think I have a Tufty club badge somewhere He was defo not a grey.
I could bore everyone with my photos for days ... but I won't. There's a campsite at Freshfields, Formby Point, Merseyside that is in the woods where there is a red colony.
