Today is Post Day

Post Day was founded in the Swiss Capital, Bern, and made official by the UPU Congress in Tokyo, Japan in 1969. Post organisations worldwide use the event to promote new services, and increase awareness of the postal system.

I like getting post - not bills, obviously.

 

I posted something today.
A 16Gb memory stick crammed with photos to a friend in Canberra along with a stack of trading cards for her 7 year old daughter. The first thing I've posted in years.
I also picked up 2 parcels containing CDs for me, it seems I ordered them a couple of weeks ago from the interwebs. Ms.T doesn't have to know about the collection of the said CDs.

 

Had you been drinking when said 'ordering' occurred?

 

Possibly, but I can't remember clearly

 

At least it wasn't another bus!

 

Another bus, would be an almost certain death sentence .... unless it's a panel van
