Today is Mountain Day

A UN-organised event, Mountain Day is dedicated to raising awareness of the importance and value of mountains from an ecological and economical perspective.

I thought brownie day was a good one. I might have to start making these up

 

i stayed clear of the brown one for obvious reasons!

my favourite mountain/fell is Crinkle Crags, one of the first fells I could identify as a child, it looks like knuckles

we scrambled up that! even the Puca (when she was a nipper) it was the happiest moment especially when you know Wainwright never managed it!
