Having greenery indoors, at home, and in your living room can improve your environment, freshen your air, and make a room more pleasant and colourful. Houseplant Appreciation Day encourages you to look after your houseplants, to grow and maintain a variety of colourful indoor flowers, and to generally appreciate house plants!

Do you have a special green friend that you like to confide in?

We have no plants inside, there's enough gardening to do outside without having to contend with temperamental house plants :)

  3. I love my cactus

  4. I've got a peace lily that's a real survivor - when we had our 4 months away, none of the friends who popped in to check on the house were 'plant-y' people and it didn't get watered for ages. Pretty dead when we got home, but now, nearly a year later, it's looking really healthy and we might even get a few flowers again this year. :)

Keep meaning to get a plant for my desk at work to cheer the place up...

There used to be a rubber plant in every house when I were a lad. Not seen one for a while now
