Golden Retrievers are one of the most popular breeds of dogs and families all over the world love Goldens. The Golden Retriever is popular as a disability assistance dog such as being a guide dog for the blind and a hearing dog for the deaf.

In addition, they are trained to be a hunting dog, a detection dog, and a search and rescue participant. The breed’s friendly, gentle temperament means it is unsuited to being a professional guard dog, but this has helped make it such a popular breed.

I always wanted one as a child, but was always told that I was allergic to dogs. I don't think I was :(

Shh don’t tell Nipper he doesn’t like golden retrievers for some reason, he’s fine with every other breed but goes nuts when he sees a G R or lab
