We are off home today after a 10 day break in the van. I always have mixed feelings at the end of a break. Nice to be home, masses of work piled up etc. I always try to have the next day off from work so that we have a day at home before the routine kicks in again. How do you cope ?
Retire? We usually have a couple of days off after a holiday to recover from the holiday. These days, every day is like a holiday at work
well summer sun shined on you , looked really nice glad you had a good time , looking forward to ours on the I.O.W in aug fa 9days . If your having a great time with great weather etc its not so good going home , if its peeing down with rain n c rap time cant wait to go home
But it feels like a holiday here even when I'm working and we can just pop off without having to book a crossing. Win win
Come home Saturday start work Monday night. That bit is the highlight of my hols.. I miss work so much!
I take the friday off of the week i go back so i have something to look forward to as compensation lol
I've just been away with my mates biking in Spain, with Sally at home there's no build up of stuff to do when I get back, just empty my suitcase somewhere near the washing machine , ( she doesn't have access to this forum obviously)
always try to go home to an extra day off, i hate getting back sunday eve then going to work monday....
