A day to enjoy, once I've had breakfast, finished getting up, been for my 2 mile walk, and done all the other things that mean it's too late in the day to start a new project. I actually did manage to get some paint delivered yesterday, so I can add painting the summerhouse to my list of jobs I haven't felt the rush to start.
My intention is to start machining a load of teak planks into my kitchen island worktop... Wendy said don't bother as the nhs put out a warning the other day about accidents to protect the emergency dept just as I took some skin off my knuckles with the angle grinder....ooops
Cant get 12.5 mm plasterboard anywhere must have all gone to Nightingale builds No complaints there. My porch roof may have to wait a while. Mind you I have garden, paint projects plus of course Tilly to pay with. No complaints here, everyday until lockdown is lifted will be DIY day
I’ve been doing it to myself all day. Moved all the self watering tubing and put it back another way round . Got all the summer garden furniture uncovered and cleaned and made biscuits . I’m now horizontal on my back wondering if I should get the ambre solaire ready for tomorrow . Whilst thinking if the flu has anything to go buy we could be in for a longer haul than they are predicting . Started the car and let it live for a while smorning and cancelled the breakdown for the foreseeable ...... especially as it’s gone up again and I don’t tend to use it. DIY spose !
Clipped a standard Poodle and walked it by myself today! Mind you, I've been doing this for ten years.
Cleared out the small greenhouse today and washed it in Jeyes fluid - not really DIY I suppose - but it kept me out of mischief
