Clean Off Your Desk Day heralds the beginning of some serious spring cleaning. Do you really need all that junk, old paperwork and mess on your desk? If the answer’s no, take the opportunity to do a little tidying!

You might as well do your work bench while you are at it.

Good idea but I look upon bench clearing as work so I can't its me back you see its not right, its well thingy, I have this problem that restricts me thinking about doing such a task let alone doing it.

 

Can you find me some time to do it? Ta :-

 

My desk is always immaculate.However the floor surrounding it is another story. Let's not discuss the bookshelves

It's my form of OCD, the desk HAS to be correct with everything in its assigned spot & woe betide anyone who messes it up.

 

Think there is a desk in the upstairs office with your name on it Bern ....

 

you guys are lucky you dont have to desk share! It SUCKS

 

damn it do I have too, I like to think of it as organised ) clutter.

Always been tempted to go into work and do that dramatic sweep of the arm across the desk and end up with everything in the bin, flounce a bit, then walk out. Today might be the day ....!

 

Did it yesterday. It took all day. And all evening. I feel good now though.

 

I'm going to make a start in a bit ....

 

I used to work with a guy who had to have everything just so on his desk - everyone else in the office worked in some kind of organised chaos.

We worked out how he managed to have such a tidy working space when one night in the pub we went around how many jobs we all had open currently - 50, 63, 45 we all said and his work load? 7 jobs open - kind of explains why he had the time to muck about adjusting the angle of the telephone against the intray

 

Great idea, I'm gonna do that now ! Hang on, I'm not at work > and I will forget by tomorrow.
