Yesterday was cat herding day for me. 104 kids, a forest, horizontal sleet, -1 and Santa. It didn't make for a fun day : Then delayed trains to and in London, metal and sadly a person on the rails :- I'm hoping for a more pleasant day today
My last job was like cat herding. I cannot believe it took so much effort to get 5 people to leave work and go to the pub at the same time. We didn't try it very often ... After a while, I realised there was no point in waiting for them, so I used to just go and get myself a pint and wait for the rest to join me.
