I gave up sleeping in the van years ago and it's basically a tidy rear bench seat and a big open space. I've still got the middle seat in the back garden, covered up but I never installed it in the bus. It's got the folding back bit and is pretty much intact. It's a 74 tin top bay. What's the pros and cons of having the extra middle seats....from people who have them, had them or hated them? How easy do they like, go in? Can I make money as a quirky taxi driver for groups of up to of 7 well dressed Eskimos?
i had the middle seats for my prevoius brazil bay and like you never used them apart from the odd day when taking my children and extended family out at same time. i always prefered the space and the holes in the floor spoiled the look when i had them out so i kept covering them up which wasnt ideal. would have prefered the full floor look which im going for now mine where held in by six bolts thro the floor and it took about 25 mins to put them in inc lifting in etc
