So I'll be taking a a thermometer with me to Winter Camp, it will be placed on the outside of my van.

How cold do you think it will get?

I think it will be really nice ,just because we cant make it, ill go coldest 2, warmest 9, have fun anyway 8)

as a vetron of winter camp - i am going for -4 this year

Its not the cold that you have to worry about its the windchill factor

Im sure you will all be wrapped up warm and sat round a fire so no problems with hypothermia
Keep an eye on everyone though and dont let anyone sleep underneath a bus because there as *******ed as i can get

We had a bloke i worked with have a fit because he down a pint in one that had been sat in the freezer untill not just frozen

It was a summers day and it was a prank after his leaving speech he could have died if im honest

The body does strange things at temperature extremes and very different things if the extreme is induced gradually

For those of you without propex etc and you feel the cold if you can spare the cash you wont be cold in a green maggott
They are rated to -30 deg c when lying on top of a closed cell foam mat on the floor
You wont be cold in a bus in one of these

It's what will be the coldest over the whole weekend - it will be measured by Horts who is not sleeping from when we get there till when we leave ...

 

Well I was right about Three Degrees. It was that when I left Croydon 'topless' but went to heady heights to 9 by the time I got there.

 

Were rocking a balmy 6 deg c here tonight and its pouring down

I get the feeling nature doesent want me to build a snow hole in this country
