By her own admission she isn't as fit as she would like, she is slower than she would like, and she pulled out of the spine of England race in January due to injury; after 108 miles - wimp!!!! ps - she doesn't have a camper so is unlikely to read this!
This weekend is a no for me. Next weekend I have a free pass and am planning to drive the bus up to Todmorden for a three day long fortieth birthday party... So I might be able to join in for some of the walking action depending on the location. Where are we thinking?
It's all fluid (man). You see, already your post has given reason to visit the Todmorden area weekend after next. Details aside, I'd be up for it, but not if you then decided you were too hung over and rest of us (assuming there is a rest of us) might have driven 100 extra miles for that particular venue, if you see what I mean. I think if you suggest a venue and date, you do have to come, that's what I mean.

You're very welcome Sorry it was split into 2 parts, I had to stop and take a second breath Sent from my XT1072 using Tapatalk
Ah! Sorry I misread your post. I'm very much up for trying to make it happen, OTOH I'm not sure what the (party) plans are for the weekend, as you say I might end up in a bit of a state...and I wouldn't want to mess anyone about. Have just emailed the host to see what his plans are though so I'll be in a better position to commit when I know what's happening. Let's see what suits everyone and pin it down later. I could potentially meet between London and Tod on the Friday or Sunday if there's another location that works better for others.
We'll make it somewhere else then. That way you can take it or leave it without guilt. Tod's fairly northerly for any Southern types?
I would be very keen to come on one of these walking weekends and will follow on here to see if one happens at a time we are around.(We are away the next 3 weeks)
So, I propose Date : weekend Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd May. Walk on Saturday. Site : Hayfield C & C site (non members welcome). http://www.campingandcaravanningclu...m_content=Hayfield&utm_campaign=google_places We can plan where we'll walk when we get there?
When kt comes to it, probably be best if we just book in separately, we wouldn't want the site to think they'll be invaded. It's a quiet site, but there are plenty pubs nearby for a pint and food.
I think you have to book it individually, but when we have met up with people there before they have always been very accommodating regarding camping together. We are back from NI on the Friday so will have to see how the weeks walking has gone, but will come along if I can.
