I'm ringing Malcolm later with approx figures so am sure we can squeeze another one in!
what are the numbers cos it makes me laugh 30 odd buses 60 or adults 200 kids and 99 dogs

I've lost count and am planning on fudging the figures so I don't scare him! But yes something in the region of 30 vans/tents, 60 adults, 30 kids, 20 dogs...

Whats the format/plan?

OK in a nutshell:-

1. Turn up
2. Open the booze
3. Where applicable, send kids off to make friends with the other kids
4. Where applicable, release dogs to make friends/terrorise/maim other dogs
5. Drink lots round the campfire with your lovely new mates
6. Try to be last man standing and then realise you're in some serious company and have no chance
7. Stagger to bed
8. Get up on Saturday and opt for visit to chorizo farm/long walk/ pub crawl round Malham
9. Repeat steps 5,6 and 7, including stuffing yourself silly with the cheese, pate, nibbles etc for party night
10. Get up again and go Easter Egg hunting
11. Pack up and go home and spend hours reminiscing on what a BRILLIANT weekend you've had

Nah I've got steps 2 - 8 nailed after years of practice. I'll give you reminders if you're going off list

Mark - Sat night is Black Tie (optional) - tux/suits for the gents and frocks for the ladies, complete with wellies for that "barking mad in the middle of a field" look )

Sounds fantastic! Have just ordered a small top up shop from ocado, 3 bottles of wine, 3 bottles of coke (to go with vodka), a few stubbies and a pack of burgers and sausages! Oh and 18 creme eggs for the egg hunt. Need to get some amaretto for mrs fletch then final shop on Friday!
We're going to have a memorable weekend with perhaps a few alcohol induced forgotten hours!

I have a pinata (one of those mexican things you bash which are filled with sweets) to fill with any left over sweets. All we need is something to hit it with Weirdly its something I made at work last week.

I'll wallop it with my table leg ^-^ Love pinatas, we had three of them at our wedding, the kids thought they were brilliant.

we have extra special permission for fires that are off the ground, with an ash catcher, and no wood. You can use the fire log type things though, just not timber or logs that look like they have been nicked of his log pile!
