Might there be someone able to help with getting a driver's seat from either Gloucestershire or North London (or somewhere along the M4 between), to Holmfirth, West Yorkshire? (Have no plans to be at any shows etc but will be at Victoria Farm on June 8th.)
Hi Doug, I'm just off M5 junction 13 ... or the equivalent bit of the A38. Would you be using either of those? ... or the A46?
I'll be going up the M5 mate. Where would be the quickest place to meet for me to stop, bung it in the car and go? I'm going up and back same day so won't have time for any detours really. Are either of the services near you, and would you be able to meet me? Likely to be 09:00 ish.
Yup, wasn't thinking you'd want to detour ... There's a petrol station just off Junction 13, heading towards Stroud, which is a straight run of about 400m and takes one minute ... 9.00 would be fine for me ... (A tweak after would mean less traffic probably though)
No worries. PM me your mobile number and I'll give you a shout when I get onto the M5. Arrival time will be dependant what time I actually get out of the house! Presumably the seat is pretty tidy? New car and oily sh*te aren't my favourite combo!
Gloucester services would mean a long hour on the road for me by the way as opposed to 20 minutes all round for Shell at Junc 13
