When i was in the forces we used to sort a lot of social differences by boxing in a ring It was often an improvised ring abroad but if it was a camp in the uk we had a normalish ring We often sorted problems out from who was with which girl to who had the best bed in the accomodation The great thing about it was whoever won in the ring had the rights and it was final and done We often have some disagreements on here I was thinking if we could have some boxing at the spring summer and winter camps to raise money for charity and at the sane time settle differences with a full stop It not only would bennefit the charity but give some good sport to vent of steam between members and at the same time provide entertainment for others Its only an idea and it may be too much for late bay members However isnt it worth donating £5 to a charity to have a swing at me?
Problem is, that it all it sorts out, is who's the best boxer, not who is right or wrong in a situation. That's why we moved on to a judicial system. No disrespect to boxers, it's good for developing discipline, dedication etc, but not for settling disputes IMHO.
Would we have weight classes? What weight class would you be in paradox? I always remember when i was at school i fought alot, funny how sometimes you become really good friends with your aponents!
survival of the fittest? how about a nice quiz instead as the one who is right/has the most valid point, surely must be the cleverest? (boris johnson made me say that!)
Well I just googled Battle Club to get an image to stick on here as an answer. Wow "Battle Club" who knew?
