Well Alex drove great this weekend. ( actually he could have been rubbish on the M1 as i missed that bit as i was a sleep) but apart from that he was great. We've put him away in the garage and i feel really happy with the memories we have gathered from meeting up with you lot this year. You are all pretty great. so, next is to book him in for some welding over the winter and then he will be ready for camping in the spring till then i am going to enjoy central heating and hot water. bek
A good yeah of camping on an engine that we built to last a few months so we could move it about. They are tough old lumps.
My year of camping: - Ran out of petrol on trip home from buying van - It rained......lots. - I had to call the AA on our first camping trip to fix my wipers that broke (needed due to all the rain!) - I got stuck in mud 3 times - I got towed out of mud 3 times. - Got blown across the M27 and screamed non stop in the wind for about 15 miles. Since it was my first year of van ownership I am thinking it is jinxed. Especially as now the brakes also keep refusing to work! So why after all that do I still keep smiling everytime I drive it? ;D
