agreed deffo the best option if loads of space is needed, i toyed with full width for ages but i still dream one day i'll be able to convince mrs roo to leave the awning and clutter behind and just go van only so played safe with the set up.....

 

Baby steps @rickyrooo1 , good you both get out, if I had a partner I'd get an awning as it can be quite cramped if its raining.

all the california models are made in germany using continental vans.....

yep the dash/steering is modular but they use a continental body so they bolt in the dash they need on a lhd van.

 

What I should of done was open the rear hatch & sit in the boot, as my rear view was much better

can you put a pic up of the wind out awning thingy? interested how the multi rail (if you have one?) locates under? it for attaching a real awning to the van?

 

just noticed the sliding thingy to hide the poptop in the cab part, i like that.

 

It's a faff cos it's curved!

 

We don't have that bit
