My van had an early auto box, but over the years was fitted with the later box, which means a new outer throttle cable had to be routed to the other side of the engine.
I was using 5mm cycle brake outer, but the inner seems a little tight in this and is pulling the outer with the inner when I press the throttle.

Anybody any ideas for a slightly wider outer cable.
Are there any motor bikers out there.....I would presume the cables are more robust ( thicker ) than on a push bike......so can you buy that type of outer cable by the meter ?

    Cheers

  2. If you look in mags like Practical Classics, there are companies that will make a cable up for you, if you can't get hold of one.
