I've just 'lost' about 2 hours trying to set a website up for the wife's new business venture. admittedly the couple of glasses of wine greased the wheels a little but not sufficient to explain where two hours disappeared to. It got me thinking;- what else causes you to question Mr Einstein's theories. Some of my suggestions 1. Time passing faster than expected/wanted Garage Time Pub Time Track Day time vw time holidays IKEA (just walking through the door makes you lose about 3 hrs) sleep 2. Time going slower than wanted/expected Anything to do with work train/plane journeys watching strictly, the x-factor or any other Marmitee TV series mother-in-law visits gardening there must be more!
When refurbing and painting components off the bus I sort of get in the zone and hours can fly by Waiting for a delivery from a courrier and time ticks over ever so slow Pub time is a law unto itself and ive no idea how you can go from your first drink at 8pm and the next thing its kicking out time
A long piece of insulated cable. Light and radio waves travels faster through air than down the wire. Every few years some numpty discovers faster than light travel using a long piece of wire in a creatively stupid way.
A few years ago an american medical boffin "discovered" that Goretex was brilliant for certain operations, where grafts and the like were required. Being inert, no rejection issues and breathable. Mr Gore was a bit ahead of him, as that was what he developed it for in the 1st.
Being underground seems to make time fly by Sort of like being in a vegas casino with no windows or clocks
Doing something you enjoy and is a good challenge gives time the appearance of speeding by. Last night i had three pizzas to cook, home made, and the first two cooked in what seemed like no time, at about 8 mins each. Then i told our mates to sit in the other room at the table while i finished the last one, and that one must have taken half an hour to cook.
Yes fly`s by ,I just move a plant next minute there is something else, then it`s dark... A day at a theme park quick quick quick A day shopping slow slow slow...
