We all know how dangerous walking on frozen rivers can be , but if you going to be daft enough to do it you will need 2.5 inchs of solid ice to support you or if your mates are mad enough to follow you then you will need 3 inchs ( if your in single file ) . Now if your completely bonkers and you want to your pride and joy on to frozen water you are going to need 8 inchs of solid ice ,but quite how you are going to measure it i have no idea . If Malc takes his truck on to ice assuming its around 45 tonnes he will need 25 inchs of the frozen stuff. best not to really
