I bet it has zero breathability so would be no good for boots or clothing though as you would get soaked from your own sweat

Imagine coating the bottom of the bus in it or the insides of box sections etc instead of waxoyl

 

I bet that bloke with the boots wished he had sprayed his jeans as well!!

I think I will start a good use for it thread, beige suede boots to stop embarrassing urinal moments for a start

i thought you were meant to have little wee wee stains on "biege suede boots" i heard it softens them up and adds character to them.
If you didn't have your own little stain on them how would you know they were yours, in the thousands out there.

Cost prohibitive for a lot of use then cosidering it needs reapplying every 3 months on external surfaces

I've heard this said, about breathability, before about clothing and boots. However for whats its worth and its only my opinion, if you are out hill walking or similiar activities and you don't have to get from A to B as humanily possible as part of your job and you are getting soaked from your own sweat you need to take a chill pill and slow down, observe your surroundings and enjoy the view.
If you are wearing work boots and are doing your normal daily work whether that is mechanic or working on a building site (as and example) and you are getting soaked from your own sweat because of the breathability of your clothes either take a layer of clothes off or go and see your doctor because something else is wrong.

Just my opinion and a pet hate quote.

 

I need evertything in my life sprayed with this stuff! Especially the dog!! Id love to spray the van with it so no need to washh it for 3 months!

Also gor companies think of the massive reduction in waste material! No cement getting stuck to the funnel, no more bringing wet and snow into the house!

Soo many benefits!!

So you dont sweat at all when hill walking?

Even during moderate physical exertion you will sweat and without a wicking layer and a breathable fabric to allow that hot moist air out it will stay within the confines of your clothing and build up

I have spent and still spend a lot of time in the great outdoors at all times of the year and would not like to go back to the plasticy non breathable outer garments of old

 

I wonder if its clear enough for windscreens. There would be no need for wipers
