Water riesing quite quickly. heard 3 loud rumbles abit like thunder ,may be flood defences giving way.

Yep river now 6.5m above average ,flood defences working, high tide is 8.00 am

Sorry to disapiont , no wet feet yet,
The army were drafted in to lay 4000 sand bags last night , defences holding up well , next high tide is 8.00pm so cant hang about too long . we have had the most amazing sunset over our new lake .
several outside broadcast units parked up , how cool is that.

 

how do you do that . I cant even get one of these smiley face thingies to appear
