If you thought there were tears for the Olympics, stand by for this!! It's going to amazing to watch, really looking forward to non media trained athletes. Credit to channel 4 for having the balls to use disabled reporters, the odd teething issue is going to make it better I think.
Back in '96 I was in Atlanta. I missed the normal* Olympics but watched a days Athletics of the Paralympics in a virtually half empty stadium, shame really, but I really enjoyed it * ooh, I fell wrong saying normal olympics, but you know what I mean....
Going next wednesday night. Got seats right at the end of the 100m straight............Can't wait, should be good day.
I hate the commentary. Why do they need to commentate? On the Beeb you could watch without it. Before anyone mentions the blind I know... Oh well.....
I'm in tears already - the woman in the 7/7 attack who had a 10 minute lay in saying that maybe it was meant to be for her to end up here. I managed to get tickets for next Thursday nights athletics - am soooooo excited.
