If he’s wandering round Rotherham like that he’s going to get biffed! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
concrete catastrophe narrowly avoided as i came in and nearly stepped in the 'is it dry yet?' concrete in HEELS! luckily i realised just in time for the bambi legs to avoid such calamity! *phew*
It was a close call but think it’s probably dry now, just didn’t want to test it at that very moment.
In the fine TLB art of ‘going off on a tangent’, my Dad used to go out with Mary Rand, I think he was her bit of ruff one summer. She stayed at me Grans house in the holidays once and was friends with my Auntie.... no idea how that came about as she went to a posh public school in Somerset I think, and they all lived in a small council house in Fordingbridge. I might have to ask him when I pop round later today.....
That's my nan's house before she got a flat in a sheltered housing complex. Only hot water she had was boiled in a huge kettle on the gas cooker. Galvanised bath tub was kept in the garden shed and put in front of the fire on 'occasional' bath days.
I’d love a bathroom with an open fire in. Sadly this house is too small. I thought about moving it to the smaller bedroom but there’s no original fire in there and all plumbing and waste would have to be directed back through the house
..and the first visitor across the newly filled in threshold was @CollyP ! so perfect that it was a fellow TLB-er
