the mods on here think they get grief...

I frequent a railway forum as well as this one which is full of idiots but sometimes you just need the "gen" as we all it, anyway the site admin (owner) is called ian furness (IF) and one of his moderators is called Paul Bigland (snapper) this guy is by far the worst moderator in the world he is so up himself it's amazing but yet the admin let him run riot - some think that he "has" something on IF anyhoo someone on the forum has made a you tube channel to take the mick.....it might not mean much to you all on here but in forum circles i'm sure you can relate.....

there are a lot of the typical "thermos flask satchel carriers" in the hobby but there are also a fair few normalish people who like locomotives for their engineering or childhood memories, i don't write numbers down or anything but i do go round the country to ride behind them, i guess it's like modern cars versus old ones, i like older locos not modern ones....you may also be unaware of another high profile poster on here knowing as much (if not more than me) about "trains" but we don't broadcast it.....

 

when you say ride behind them do you chase them in your car ?

 

yeah brett your bus too nice to leave on the side of the road for sure, i would have moved somewhere i could have my bus or found a garage nearby though, wouldnt sell yours if it was mine.

 

oh just ride the carrage behind the engine . sorry the whole thing is just a train to me , i dont descriminate between the engine and carrages
