So I have been wondering what the underside was like behind the belly pans. I didn't realise you could buy such great endoscopes for so little money and got one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01NBFT..._dp_3HDWABWDK6TATZV9XF4F?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Amazing! I've taken some photos which I'll put up using my phone. It's a bit like deep sea exploration. Think it's definitely belly pans off though.
Can't really tell what's what. Look for trouble where the pans join the sills and the outriggers, these are the first places to rot with pans, not the floor above. I got a much cheaaper camera, but yours is much better.
I’ll be tackling the underneath soon, though with a lot more welding required on mine than looks to be the case with yours. For anywhere that a drill, dremel or scraper won’t go I use these: Strips of belt sander. Cut down they can wrap over tubes and braces etc (even between the corrugated floor) and then a sawing motion to sand. Where upwards or sidewards pressure is required I just staple a strip to flexible batons. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Someone suggested getting an air line shot blaster for this. Is that a good idea? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
