where is Brighton? What is the money for, to camp on the racecourse or to park on the seafront? Can someone explain the camping business again? I thought the whole point was that it was a cruise, followed by parking on the sea front?

Apologies just about to book this so just want to be sure.

Even though the Website says £6 for Hook on the Friday night, TLB camp for free and so can exclude this selection?

Aaaah.............TLB'ers are camping at the Racecourse Friday eve and not Hook?

 

I thought the free camping is on the racecourse on the Friday night and you pay for the Saturday night, but now also

Yes, the idea is that we camp on the Racecourse in Brighton on the Friday night, so we can be down at the Seafront to set up the display first thing Saturday morning, rather than spending the whole morning driving from Hook and then sitting in a large queue to get on the Seafront. We will be camping with the pipe-and-slippers brigade, but they're alright really. Friday night is free, but if you want a Saturday night Racecourse ticket, you have to book one with your Seafront ticket.
