What a weekend! Well worth the hours and money making the van just right. Good weather, good beer, VIP tickets, met old friends, made new ones (includiing the 20 year old Aussie girl who wanted to spend time with us because she drives a Kombi back home) and saw some great gigs. A week later and I'm still not quite back to normal. Best weekend of the year once again. The 2012 debacle is officially forgiven and forgotten. Although funnily enough last year's problems kept the ticket sales down which meant that this year's benefited from less crowds and congestion. Got a full 7m by 7m for the van pitch for one... Talking of the van. Didn't miss a beat all weekend. Did Enfield to Portsmouth in 2 hours 20 minutes on the Thursday morning, including two stops on the way. Drove like a dream and was a blissfully comfy place to lay my head.
I'm sorry but no picture of the 20yr old Aussie is just not on. I've known campervans taken away for less offences.
