I've just been watching a program on BBC I-player regarding the rain. They showed footage of the Boscastle floods. Parked up on the side, next to where the shop is eventually destroyed, as the river floods, is a brown bay window with a white roof. Whilst all the other cars are getting washed down the river and out to sea this plucky VW clings on for dear life, despite getting battered by the water. It appears to be one of the few remaining vehicles once the floods subside. I was wondering if anyone knows what became of this camper? Did it survive?
