  4. Reading the article maybe I've got a bigger engine in then i thought anyone?

i do have a 5 speed gearbox  engine diesel.

  5. For 1988/89 model year i think the only engine options available on the Gypsy were a 78bhp 1.9WBX or the 70bhp 1.6 turbo diesel. Both came with the 5 speed gearbox though.

  6. "The wardrobe is a spacious one for the size of the van (those who choose and can afford a Karmann will want to dress accordingly)!" :D Plenty of room for socks and sandals then ;)

  11. Lovely and massive inside but the only issue is where to park it. That’s why I bought the T25 gypsy lot earlier to store and drive.

All that said I really like it, thanks for sharing:)

  13. They're a bit underpowered for a 2+ ton vehicle but 100x better than a 1.6 bay. ;)
1.9td golf engine is an easy swap (well it would be if you could get to the top of the engine from the back of the van with an engine hoist).

  16. 0 to 60 eventually

  17. I've got this and even though its only 100bhp it goes like doo doo of a shovel if given the chance. Only problem is the massive wheelspin if pulling out into traffic in a hurry.
