    Not even a teaser

  6. Serious question @Geordie. Surely all that wood is going to ease a bit as you drive and then squeak all round you as it rubs together?

  9. I believe he lubricates his wood with Danish oil

  10. It’s just that when I drive my van it sounds like the London Symphony Orchestra has snuck in the back. All the wood bits squeak, rattle and graunch as they rub together. Not casting aspersions on @Geordie s workmanship but it’s the nature of wood to do that.
Anyone who’s tried to creep up a flight of wooden stairs quietly, after staying out too late drinking, will know this.
There’s a lot of wood and joints in that there Gypsy...

    Point well made.

Have you seen the shape of wooden framed Tudor houses after they have seasoned?

  19. @Kkkaty Theres more joints than @Lord Congi van but it’s glues screwed/nailed/ stapled insulated and sealed so I’ll have to do a squeak test when finished:cool:

  20. Made out of Green oak very easy to machine but very very very Heavy!
Most joints are motice and tenon with dowels. One I makes earlier
