  4. Not too sure someone a little more tech savvy may know...but this would be my only heat...so not sure...or someone can sleep up top in Molly hehe... I'm coming on my own with Charlie I think... x

  14. Oooh interesting - the noise thing is the reason my mechanic recommends fitting a truma instead. Might have to listen to him.

    And tbf your fan heater is actually rubbish.
     
  15. They have a cheap and great sounding menu at the pub if anyone wants to book a table.

    We would have to book for the Saturday night though as it gets really busy with locals.

    Anyone fancy something off the menus? Don't feel obliged though. It's just an option for those that want it.

    Let me know if you want to eat and I can book a table so all can sit together. PLEASE ADD YOUR NAME TO THE POLL AT THE TOP OF THIS THREAD.
    You don't have to tell me what you want to eat, just if you want to be included so I can make sure everyone is on the same table ;D ;D

    Main course £13.99. 2 courses £16.99 3 courses £19.99


    Starters

    Thick Country Vegetable Soup with crusty ciabatta bread and butter or

    Oven Baked Field Mushrooms topped with a blue cheese and thyme crumb on a dressed salad with cranberry relish or

    Smoked Salmon, Lemon and Herb Roulade on a mixed leaf salad served with a dill and cucumber yogurt or

    Award Winning Haggis on a bubble and squeak pancake with carrot crisps and a jaffa and whiskey sauce

    Mains

    Roast Turkey, pigs in blankets, chestnut sage and onion stuffing, goose fat roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables, our homemade cranberry sauce and gravy or

    Slow Cooked Lamb Shank on a bed of pea and mint mashed potato, baby roasted leeks and mushrooms served with a rich Shrewsbury Sauce. Shrewsbury Sauce is made from port, red current jelly and fresh cranberries or

    Grilled Seabass Fillets on a potato rosti accompanied by steamed kale and finished with a dill and lemon butter and toasted pine nuts or

    Pan Roasted Venison Steak with garlic and rosemary roasted new potatoes, fresh streamed greens and topped with a cranberry and Cumberland sauce.

    Special vegetarian options on request.

    Shrewsbury Arms boozy Christmas trifle or

    Baileys and Chocolate Cheese Cake served with a cherry compote or

    Traditional Christmas Pudding with a rich brandy sauce or

    Selection of Cheese & Biscuits and our home made preserves served with a schooner of Taylor’s 2004 LBV Port for an additional £2.00

  17. Yes please, we would like to join in with the Christmas dinner menu. We will be coming from work though on the Saturday night so will probably not arrive until about 7.00pm if that's OK?

    otherwise it wears my already stumpy fingers down to the bone if I have to keep scrolling through umpteen pages

  20. Wow that christmas menu looks lovely stick us down, the diet really will go to pot that week as we'll be out for 4 meals whoops ;D

    Ahhh christmas the season of good will and ever expanding waistlines
