I'm "lucky". Kids grown up (ish), wife ran off, always fancied living on a boat (ex refused), possessions weigh me down. It would be rude not to?

 

"ex refused", those words say so much. my kids grew up and left, my ex grew up and left and I have been living a life of freedom ever since and its wonderful. I got rid of most possessions and I live a simpler life.

If I want to do something, I do it, nobody to ask or answer to.

@zedders were you by any chance in Hinckley at lunch time today? Was just heading to sainsburys on my lunch break and saw a bus that I hadn't seen in the area before (I am that sad that I monitor such activity) coming out of the car park, your colour, canopy thingy on the side... I would have snapped a pic for my saddo collection, but couldn't get to my phone quick enough with gloves on following the snow flurry!

 

Yep that was me driving about in the snow.

Today it has snowed, hailed and blown a bit. OK in camper but don't fancy going far in this weather so I'm stopping here until it improves or worsens. The site is quite exposed.
There are a couple of caravans here who arrived early for the weekend so I'm not the only Muppet.

@zedders if you fancy a drive out one lunchtime you will find me chilling over a coffee most days (1 ish til 2 ish) in Lutterworth which is the opposite direction to Hinckley up the A5 from Eddies!

 

Last time I was there Lutterworth was south so down the A5

 

I have no sense of direction so I wouldn't have a clue!

 

Up for north(cold and wet) and down for south(warm and wet) but it's always up to London town . Hope this helps.
