Is it only me that finds it strange that in the modern age that one hospital ha your records but if you present yourself fifty miles away you have to explain it all over again Yet if I've looked at prom dresses in Manchester and the shop takes my email addy Then ten mins later o get an email on my phone from Amazon suggesting prom dresses I may be interested in
I can't help that I love the swish of a 3/4 length gown across my thighs whilst the heels force my calfs out and my buttocks up and pert Fairs fair no one bats an eye at women wearing trousers since the war
Get yourself over here man, they don't ***** you about like the uk system, Nik went the over day with cough/chest trouble came back after a FULL examination and a bag of drugs where in UK doc would of just given a inhaler. Get sorted quick as we need your adventures/travel blog updates.
Still OK this morning - great stuff, means I have better chance to get sorted before it gets serious. Going to spend some time on the phone and atempt to get them to expect me. If that fails will turn up and refuse to leave.
That's the expensive computer system that the NHS has, access to ones medical records from any NHS location..only its not as good as what its supposed to be!
Phoned consultant's secretary, they haven't had any comms. Phoned GP who admitted they don't actually have a fax. Now consultant sec will phone GP and somehow get all important letter and then consultant will call me "today". As suspected if you don't drive these things nothing happens. But that's OK, I'm driving.
sorry to hear this - whereabouts are you? the reason i ask is that our local, small, hospital is consistently brilliant - i've just been there for a broken wrist the downside from your point of view is that its in the east, specifically cromer, and i know that you're not a great fan of norfolk you could always park on our drive
Hope you get yourself admitted and sorted Zed. At least you can use a phone in hospitals now so you can continue your blog
Thanks for the recommendation. I've had same consultant for 10 years, a 6" thick file is at Addenbrookes where the consultant is working today, best stick with them I feel.
Speedy recovery to you sir, your country needs you for instant camper advice so don't be out of action for too long ! ;-)
Stick a charger in your pocket, you'd be surprised where you can find an empty socket. Just don't take any plugs out if you're in intensive care, or at least, not any plugs near your bed.
