    Yes, it does have digital bits in: a storage scope with a whopping 2k - count 'em - of memory. Wow!

    The mains filter quite reliably trips the RCD in the garage, but he keeps on going.

    I have got a fancy digital scope that does FFTs and all sorts, but lacks a beamfinder. You'd have thought they'd have put one on :rolleyes:.

    I also bave a Nicolet 20MHz digital scope with a megabit of bubble memory for storage of 512 sample captures. Last time I turned it on something inside went bang and made smoke but I could find no trace (hahah) when I opened it up ..

  13. You can put up to 1.5kV on them jobbers, this one is a bit milder, however.

    I asked an Instrument Artificer i used to work with, who excitedly explained that it could generate millivolts accurately and then you would null it against what you were measuring to give you a precise millivolt reading. Hope that makes sense as I have to have a large font on my phone and only see the last few words at a time :D
