That was a fun weekend. Hats of to the @vdub brvs for staying outwardly calm at the sight of their engine still in pieces at tea time on Saturday. As usual a few little teething problems that were nothing to do with anything we'd been doing slowed us down! Did it go any better or just less smoke?
top man zed thanks so much for youre help it would,nt have bin possible without youre help and exspert advice;-) it drove spot on nice and smooth and pulled along strong with no smoke
didn't go to techenders but we passed sickboy sunday late afternoon north of Birmingham,we did wave but being in normal car and his steering wheel being on the wrong side he didn't see it.hope he managed to get home ok as the heavens opened not so long after and we got in a tailback because some nob was on motorway with a unit on a van that was being blown over in the wind. liked your bus by the way...
Got home fine thanks although I thought I would conk out in all that rain. Techenders was brilliant - it's amazing having access to those patient experts all weekend. Sorry I didn't see your wave - probably asleep.
Great pics from Baysearcher and Robo on the other thread....if I hadn't been such a Last Minute Larry with our bus we might have been there too....lesson learned...
