Well, the last job of the Maroc TE tgis afternoon... We've moved south to the edge of the desert and the palmeries that run down to the dunes. It's hot, damn hot. And the rough piste makes the drivers door glass bounce about. It turned out to be a bit of broken plastic on the slider bar (what else) and it's cable ties to the rescue again!!!
And finally, this evenings workshop We hope you all had a great weekend catching up despite the weather and see you in September... Neil & Mel xx
Good to see some pictures. Glad you are having a great time. Excellent location for international techenders
Had a nose. Not in that bad order, no major seam rot, but I walked away anyway, engine sounded a bit “rattly” for a start.
I was hoping to join the T25 westie gang this week. Was shown this advert by a mate Monday am, as I was say the weekend. I sent msg to say v interested but already had a viewer booked in. Unsurprisingly the first viewer purchased. I’m on reserve list just in case! I’d even told Sarah and she was interested too!!
Yes it was an 86. It had belonged to the dad of the lady selling. He had sadly died suddenly end of last year and so she was selling it. Sounds like it may have been his pride and joy as she said herself and her kids had enjoyed going in it. It looks in super good nick in the photos.
I do like a Westy T25. Hi top or pop. I like the Westy LTs as well, the Sven Hedin and Florida. The LT I went to see yesterday was a bit of a disappointment tbh. Looked fab on the photos too.
I’ve been debating an LT Florida, but bought a Syncro instead , I looked at a couple, my friend has a very nice one for sale which I was going to buy until I spend half the money on the syncro , can get some details of you want
