    I've changed the condenser and the coil now, plus points (again), and I'm up and running YEAH!!! ...........so will defo be coming . Those new points I put in last week were badly pitted tho' so not sure what caused that. I could do with someone showing me how to set the timing properly if poss. If anyone has a strobe that would be great but I have a test light if not. Really want to be on site now I can see some of you set up but Deb has to work tomorrow afternoon so plan is early start on Saturday!!

    Cooee! I’m back home, getting a quick shower and bite to eat. As I have no cooking facilities in my van and need to cook outside do those already there think I need my awning?

    As I’m going to come A38 til I’m a bit more certain of my brakes and not keen on M1 ‘smart’ mway bit I shall be there prob 8.30.

    Anyone want any last minute stuff bringing? :) x

    Its the ridge of rust on the edge rim .. the shoes will clear the metal part of the rim they have to when assembled. But rust has a larger volume than the metal it comes from.
    So you scrape off the rust with the adjusters wound in, the handbrake cable slackened and then it should come off. Unless you have bent the shoes...

    Hello. I’m coming and will be there in the evening tomorrow sometime all being well. Sans kids, wife and dog! Don’t know how I’ve managed that!

    Could do with a hand fixing/replacing my window regulator and perhaps fitting a new or adjusting the old gear selector plate. On the base of the gear stick.

    Can’t wait to get my head stuck into all those noisy cupboards!
    Hope all that are there now are having a good time.
