Hello all.. As alot of you have seen in other forums etc some have used a wood router and a frame to hold the gearbox to remove the 15mm required to make space for the adaptor plate. I had a go on a test piece of aircraft grade Ali. Using a 10mm carbide tipped bit. Happy to say it went through like cheese... See pic.. 2 passes not slow nor too fast.
