tax exemption

    Has anyone gone through the process off getting their early 73 bus reclassed as tax exempt?mine was registered in march 73 but if dvla goes off the build date mine was built well before that.Just wondered if anyone else has tried with any success.

    Prove build date with birth certificate
    Apply for re-classification
    Job done.

    You say yours was built 'well before mar'73', so do you know the actual build date? As harryankle & baysearcher say, find your build date from your m plate and prove it with a birth certificate & job done...good luck :)
