T25 gearbox

Hi all

My gearbox code is DU

i have checked and this is 4 speed. Can anyone confirm this for me as i am skeptical.

cool thanks @Baysearcher i have been trying to smash it into a non existent 5 speed '1st' gear. lol. it has a 5 speed gear knob from PO

 

you know the first gear is a dog leg ,I burnt out a clutch going up a steep hill in 3rd...

 

dont understand @lost-en-france .. I have never seen a 4 speed gear knob for a 25 before. i cant find a pic of the gear positioning/gear knob for 4 speed

 

first is way over left ,then back ,second is like 2nd to 3rd on a normal box...

 

So looking from above, to the left and down? If so, I can't get that gear.

 

yes...4 speed is the same as a bays...

I would still sell it as 5 speed ,if it says so on the knob....

 

Haha. I just can't sell it knowing it's not selecting gears. They will probably knock me down for that. I ain't up for being knocked.

we was talking 5 speed on a T25...

 

read from 3rd post slowly (clear as mud)....I think dogleg is a old term...

Well I can't find a diagram anywhere. Nor a picture of a 4 speed gear knob for a t25. Wtf.

Cool so it's figure of 8 motion for all gears. That's that settled then.

 

because I have 5 speed dunno if the 4 speed has the markings....
