T2 faulty fuel injection ECU

    Most fires are due to old or cheap fuel lines. Plenty of threads on here but spend the money and get fuel lines from advance fluid solutions. About £25/£30 a meter I think but I’ve had these for 3 or 4 years now and no issues.

    Halfords and other places lasted a year before cracking.

    If your worried about breakdowns go through your FI and make sure you understand how it works, will be easy to fix then. Try and stick with FI, will cost far more converting to carbs.

  2. The garage guy called. He wants 1350 € (equivalent to maybe £1500 in terms of standard of living in Spain compared to UK) plus VAT. I've requested a detailed invoice. It will be interesting to know what exact concepts he wants to charge that for. I hate people!!
