This is probably an impossible question, but who would you say produces the best (fitting? Needing least extra shaping?) body repair panels? I have a list of parts from Just Kampers, I'm going to compare as much as I can with the same parts from Heritage, Schofields, C&C etc. From a brief glance it appears that Custom and Commercial are most expensive but are they a lot better? Apologies for the novice question..
It varies from panel to panel, but you're fairly safe with Schofields who will at least tell you if a panel is not up to scratch. Phone them, they are very helpful.
Schofields own made panels are a better fit Standard black panels are all the same so go with who's cheapest
I'd only add to the above by saying that I used JK Preservation Parts sills which fitted very well, were nice thick steel, and covered in a really tough grey primer.
Another vote for Schofields here. Some of the JK grey stuff is ok, but the grey powder coating is a pain, as even a hint of dust of it will bugger up a weld. Klokkerholm are the worst of the lot, although their rear corners are useable nowadays
Schofields every time for me. Having said that I’ve just had a couple of cheapo Klockerholme outer front T25 arches via Schofields and they’ve definitely improved a bit!
Auto craft make some great panels that fit well. They're a UK based firm that make all there own stuff. I've used a fair few of their panels on both my restos.
