Super Viking Spacemaker Restoration help!

  1. Last May picked up for £5100 a Super Viking for Glasto, just about got it home, broke down on first family outing - thanks AA - and took to August to get it to run properly - thanks Martin at British Cherished Cars with some great advice on carbs. Brought with MOT and still has a valid MOT hurrah! - albeit with a bit of additional welding.

Kids have named the Bus Chuggs - cos thats what he does and it looks like its going to be around a while.......

Poor roof repairs have let the water flow in but underneath is not too bad, chassis is good apart from the rear for 210mm and 150mm NS / OS respectively.

Plan is 5 years (MG Midget plan was 3 months took 3 years) so lets not be over ambitious. This winter its the roof, window frames and rear. Picked up a Jasic Mig to complement an old Autoplus 120 and spot welder and will finish cream and orange in two pack.

Have started thread cos I need help in panel fits and methods and there are some fantastic projects out there which show what can be done.

    Heres Chuggs!
