Suggestions please

Just purchased a propex heater from just kampers and need some clever ideas on were to fit it.

My problems are
Back seat/bed is to low
No interior cupboards
Batt both sides in engine bay

May be I could box it in between the walk through

What do you think

 

pmacs did a brill job of boxing it in the walkthrough, that seems your best plan

 

I think that's the only option.

Is there any pictures anywhere?

 

You could make a deeper unit with a storage bin in the top, or some cup holders.

 

draw up a few to scale plans and elevations of things you fancy, you will probably come up with a great idea .

It would be worthwhile moving th inlet and outley further apart, perhaps on different sides. Otherwise you will be sucking warm air into the inlet and just reheating it again!

 

I'm a bit pushed for space and the pipe to the in let won't be connected so hoping it will get a fresh air supply from the vent in the floor for the gas bottle,

 

used to have mine in the wallkthrough. Fantastic for keeping warm on the move.

 

Thats a good idea. Im thinking of putting mine on the roof of the engine bay between the inspection hatch and the fire wall but not sure yet.

 

I looked at putting it above the engine but it looks a bit tricky trying to get the pipes through.

Not impossible though

 

The black vent covers have they got angled louvres if so turn them on their side so sucking in from the left and blowing out to the right. to help prevent the warm air being sucked in.

 

If all else fails sell it to Silver - who is desperate for one

 

Now just need to connect up.
