Hi there looking to dump the 1700 type 4 for a subaru non turbo conversion any advice would be great
sell me your old engine!!!! That's about as much as I know
I have got a decent 2litre on eBay for sale the 1700 mite be up for grabs
Loads of info.here
My advice is do it, you'll love it.
Others will be along soon to tell you how wrong I am and how putting in a scooby lump is "ripping the heart out of the bus" blah blah blah.
Basically, I'm right, they're wrong.
Don't listen to Baysearcher as he's wrong and he's ripped the heart out of his bus.
You got a Scoobie in there then?
Fixed that for you
Cool yeah I no you will get the die hards giving me crap about it but never really took a lot of notice thro life lol what engine have you got in yours
He's also ripped the steering out, but that's another story....
That's what I like about you; lychee all!
Do it, it's just nuts, bolts and lumps of metal. If you can afford the change what's not great about better mileage and more power
Bog standard EJ20 but with Stage 2 heads paired with a 6 rib box.
Where are you based?
Yeah, no steering but a cool steering wheel sat in his kitchen.
Like a ship without a rudder.......
Not even got the ship at the moment!
True - be (even more) patient........
Anyway back to the thread....
You do seem to get a lot of bang for your buck with a subaru.... You could almost keep up with a 1776....
