  1. This site www.stonehengecampsite.co.UK is about three miles from Stonehenge and just off the A303. There are 5 hardstandings with electric and water - there's plenty of grass pitches and a field ( tents only) where you can have a fire 8) The facilities are basic but clean - the owner is a friendly and very helpful chap called 'William' and he cares very greatly about the site, flora, fauna, and 'animals'.

    £10.00 for pitch, £2.00 for a Hardstand, £3 for electric = £15.00 a night - well worth it :)

Great cycling and walking - 5 miles to the Henge across country and the best approach and view from Normanton Down. Loads of great walking and cycling and some very decent Pubs in walking distance - the Boot has fantastic food - dogs welcome ;D

Nice site with plenty of walks. Ladies showers are 20p for 2 minutes or £1 for 10 minutes.
