Saying that we did have a bit of luck, started the old gal today and she fired right up and running smooth, no smoke, no leaks and no undue noise, least thats a bonus
Sorry for sounding like a total newb but what are you guys referring to when you say frenched?. Love this project!. Vanoraks idea of insetting the original lenses is a grand idea.
Hopefully before xmas day, pics will be up. added another mod to the list before the prep and paint now, hopefully the fab work will be complete and itll be onto the mechanicals
Slowly getting there, still some tweaks to go, but closer and in etching primer couldnt resist, rested the lights in place
