Steeringlock ?

do all bays come fitted with a steering lock ?(if yes mine has up and left) ta 4 advice

Well officially the docs say 72 ,but there is so very much not 72 about it that I'm on a shakey peg trying to define it ,see I never really noticed whether there was a steering lock ,but as I am once again pre mot-ing it ,was wondering the above and really ,can a steering lock if fitted ,simply stop working ?

 

Yes it can stop working - mine did that just last week then spookily enough started working again yesterday. It is possibly just sticking or not engaging due to misalignment.

If it's a 72, I believe you may not have one. You'd know it if you did.

My '73 does not have one.

 

my '71 and '72 both have. I wonder if someone's removed yours?
